Refreshing the boiler water for Perfect Moose Jack
If the water in the boiler is not regularly refreshed, limescale could affect the boiler. Proper operation not guaranteed.
Don't worry, it will take you maximum 6 minutes. And you're in charge of when to refresh. During the refresh, you won't be able to steam milk. Makes sense.
1. Refresh alert.
The boiler refresh alert automatically appears on top of the touch display. Moose calculates when it's time based on the number of steaming cycles.
Ready when you are.
2. Actual refresh.
Tap refresh now to start.
To postpone the boiler refresh, tap ignore and continue. You can do this up to 3 times.
After 3 times, you'll be obliged to do a refresh. Or Moose will be on strike. #healthgoals
3. There he goes.
Old water is automatically removed and fresh water fills the boiler via the tube at the back.
Don't steam milk while Jack is refreshing the water. This will take maximum 6 minutes. Meditate.
4. Deep flush.
When the boiler refresh is finished and water is replaced, give Jack a steam flush like there's no tomorrow.
Hold your finger on the touch display. Keep pressing until the button turns fully red.
Be careful with that hot steam. Cover the steam pipe with a damp Moose hanky or barista towel.
5. Nothing more really.
What will you be steaming next?
Maybe a pink oat latte, barraquito or hot cocoa with rum and caramel?
