Adjust milk foam temperature and texture. Per pitcher.
Fix the settings on a smart Moose pitcher once and that pitcher will forever steam according to your chosen temperature and texture settings. Adjust any time by placing the empty pitcher on the steaming machine*. Simple.
*Unless settings are locked upon installation, eg at major coffee chains.
1. Put the empty smart pitcher on.
Take the empty smart pitcher and place it on the pitcher holder. Let it go.
Select 'adjust recipe' on the touch display.
For first time smart pitcher use, select 'tap to set up pitcher'. Same procedure.
2. Set milk foam texture.
Move the slider left or press minus for thinner/runnier microfoam texture. Think latte art.
Move the slider right or press plus for thicker/denser texture. Think layered stuff.
Tap > to move to the second step.
3. Set milk foam temperature.
Move the slider left or press minus to lower microfoam temperature.
Move the slider right or press plus to raise microfoam temperature.
Tap > to move to the final step.
You can never go too hot or too cold. The Moose won’t let you make mistakes.
4. Save and done.
Check your settings and save when happy.
Take the programmed pitcher off the pitcher holder.
All programmed now. Till eternity or till you want to adjust. Ready to start smart steaming.
Just for 1 cycle.
To increase the temperature of the milk foam for just 1 single steaming cycle, touch ‘tap for extra hot’ on the starting screen.
Do it before you put the milk filled pitcher on.
When the button is red, the extra hot function is switched on. Switches off automatically after 1 steaming cycle (or when you tap it again).
